Pennsylvania High School Football - Honesdale falls to Valley View

September 20, 2024: Archbald, PA 18403

The Valley View Cougars felled the visiting Honesdale Hornets football team by a score of 36-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 43-0 league loss to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA).

The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna 2 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Western Wayne toppled Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 52-14, in a non-league challenge.
