The Howe Bulldogs edged the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats football team by a score of 28-25 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Howe will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 65-21 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX).

The Bearcats (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Dallas, TX). The Trojans enter the 3A-1 Region II District 6 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Madison was edged by Dunbar (Fort Worth, TX), 55-20, in a non-league challenge.
