Georgia High School Football - Liberty County defeats Islands

September 20, 2024: Hinesville, GA 31313

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) and the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), witnessed Liberty County's football squad topple Islands by a count of 21-0.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAA Region 3 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Southeast Bulloch thwarted Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA), 35-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Sharks confront the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 contest, on Friday, October 4. Islands will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 30-17 league loss to Long County (Ludowici, GA).
