Pennsylvania High School Football - Juniata Valley triumphant over West Branch

September 20, 2024: Alexandria, PA 16611

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) and the visiting West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), witnessed Juniata Valley's football squad wallop West Branch by a count of 49-16.

The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels enter the Inter-County - North contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Moshannon Valley crushed Mount Union (Mount Union, PA), 18-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a Inter-County - North contest, on Friday, September 27. West Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Golden Tide enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 34-28 league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
