Oregon High School Football - South Umpqua tops Klamath Union

The South Umpqua Lancers football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Klamath Union Pelicans to 7 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. South Umpqua will meet a Knights squad coming off a 40-15 non-league win over Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Klamath Union drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pelicans host Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-0. Sutherlin won 42-7 in their recent non-league test against Phoenix (Phoenix, OR)
