Maryland High School Football - Oakland Mills triumphant over Long Reach

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) and the visiting Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD), witnessed Oakland Mills's football squad wallop Long Reach by a count of 45-0.

The Scorpions (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Urbana was routed by Middletown (Middletown, MD), 20-15, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lightning confront the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County contest, on Saturday, September 28. Long Reach will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 27-20 league win over Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD).
