The May Tigers football squad scored 72 points and limited the host Newcastle Bobcats to 22 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iredell for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. May will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 54-8 non-league win over Gorman (Gorman, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Newcastle drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Wichita Christian (Wichita Falls, TX) to meet the Stars in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Stars come into the test with a record of 4-0. Wichita Christian won 58-0 in their recent non-league test against Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX)
