Washington, DC High School Football - Model Secondary School for the Deaf trounces Mercersburg Academy

September 20, 2024: Washington, DC 20002

In Friday's league match, the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles football squad scored a decisive 48-0 triumph over the Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA). The Panthers come into the Keystone State (8 Man) match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Perkiomen School routed Girard College (Philadelphia, PA), 46-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Storm confront the Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA) in a Keystone State (8 Man) match, on Saturday, September 28. Mercersburg Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 55-16 league loss to Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA).
