Washington High School Football - Shorewood overwhelmed by Monroe

September 20, 2024: Monroe, WA 98272

In Friday's league game, the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) football team triumphed over the visiting Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA), by a tally of 49-7.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Everett Seagulls (Everett, WA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. Monroe will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Seagulls enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA).

The Stormrays (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Lynnwood (Bothell, WA). The Royals enter the 3A Wesco game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Lynnwood was trounced by Shorecrest (Seattle, WA), 48-8, in a league game.
