Louisiana High School Football - St. Edmund trounces Morgan City

September 20, 2024: Eunice, LA 70535

In Friday's non-league match, the host St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays football squad scored a decisive 60-15 victory over the Morgan City Tigers.

The Fighting Blue Jays (3-0) will now prepare for their match against North Central (Lebeau, LA). The Hurricanes enter the 1A District 5 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, North Central was routed by Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 60-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Vandebilt Catholic Terriers (Houma, LA) in a 4A District 8 match, on Thursday, September 26. Morgan City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Terriers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 28-6 non-league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
