The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE) and the host Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE), witnessed Sutherland's football squad wallop Morrill by a tally of 72-26.

The Sailors (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Plainsmen enter the D1 District 10 (8 Man) contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Perkins County was trounced by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE), 26-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Lions battle the Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE) in a D1 District 10 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 27. Morrill will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 68-20 league win over Kimball (Kimball, NE).
