Maine High School Football - Mt. Ararat/Hyde tops Orono

September 20, 2024: Topsham, ME

The Mt. Ararat/Hyde football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Orono Riots to 26 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Waterville for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Mt. Ararat/Hyde will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 41-8 league loss to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Orono drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Riots host Stearns/Schenck (Millinocket, ME) to meet the in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 27. The go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Stearns/Schenck lost 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME)
