The North Central Thunder walloped the host Northwestern Area Wildcats football team by a score of 46-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunder face the Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) in a Lake Region (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. North Central will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 42-20 league loss to Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD).
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs go into the Lake Region (9 Man) challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Warner bounced Faulkton (Faulkton, SD), 28-20, in a league challenge.
