Louisiana High School Football - North DeSoto trounced by West Monroe

West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), 63-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, West Monroe advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA) to encounter the Bears in a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Catholic lost 27-21 in their recent non-league battle against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Griffins now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Northwood for a 4A District 1 battle on Friday, September 27. North DeSoto will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 64-32 non-league win over Mansfield (Mansfield, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-0.
