North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] Cougars (Rolla, ND) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats (Cando, ND), 56-12 in a league battle.

With the win, North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND) to play the Mustangs in a 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Midway/Minto lost 70-12 in their recent league battle against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] (Walhalla, ND)

The Bearcats now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cavalier for a 9-Man Region 4 (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 52-16 league win over St. John (St. John, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-2.
