The North Star Cougars football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Windber Ramblers to 8 in the Cougars league win on Friday.

With the win, North Star advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cougars host Everett (Everett, PA) to play the Warriors in a Inter-County - South battle on Friday, September 27. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Everett lost 30-6 in their recent non-league battle against Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD)

The Ramblers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Carrick for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Windber will play a Raiders team coming off a 36-2 non-league win over Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
