Maine High School Football - Oceanside holds off York

The Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) football tipped the host York Wildcats (York, ME), 40-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mariners now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brewer for a C North outing on Friday, September 27. Oceanside will clash with a Witches squad coming off a 28-13 league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Witches record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, York drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to clash with the Dragons in a C South outing on Saturday, September 28. The Dragons come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Brunswick won 20-15 in their recent non-league outing against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME)
