Texas High School Football - Panhandle triumphant over River Road

September 20, 2024: Amarillo, TX 79108

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) and the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), witnessed Panhandle's football squad wallop River Road by a tally of 51-7.

The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wellington (Wellington, TX). The Skyrockets enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Wellington was trounced by Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX), 36-34, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 27. River Road will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Comanches enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 68-22 non-league win over Tulia (Tulia, TX).
