Georgia High School Football - Temple tops Pepperell

September 20, 2024: Lindale, GA 30147

The Temple Tigers football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Pepperell Dragons to 28 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bremen for a A D1 Region 6 test on Friday, September 27. Temple will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 31-0 league win over Model (Rome, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Pepperell drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Darlington (Rome, GA) to meet the Tigers in a A D1 Region 6 test on Friday, September 27. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Darlington won 21-16 in their recent league test against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)
