Fans at Friday's non-league outing between the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) and the host Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY), observed Woodford County's football squad defeat Pulaski County by a margin of 31-22.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Oldham for a 5A District 5 outing on Friday, October 4.

With the defeat, Pulaski County drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to South Laurel (London, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a 5A District 8 outing on Friday, September 27. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 3-1. South Laurel won 41-14 in their recent non-league outing against Estill County (Irvine, KY)
