Oregon High School Football - Tigard tops Roosevelt

The Tigard Tigers football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Roosevelt Roughriders to 8 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Sherwood for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Tigard will meet a Bowmen squad coming off a 55-35 non-league loss to Tualatin (Tualatin, OR). The Bowmen record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Roosevelt drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR) to meet the Guardians in a 6A Portland test on Friday, September 27. The Guardians come into the test with a record of 1-2. Ida B. Wells won 52-20 in their recent league test against McDaniel (Portland, OR)
