The Seward Bluejays edged the host Scottsbluff Bearcats football team by a score of 28-27 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays face the Lincoln Northwest Falcons (Lincoln, NE) in a B District 4 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Seward will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 49-3 non-league loss to Hastings (Hastings, NE).

The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Minutemen enter the B District 5 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Lexington was edged by Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE), 48-7, in a non-league challenge.
