North Carolina High School Football - South Johnston over Smithfield-Selma

September 20, 2024: Four Oaks, NC 27524

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), witnessed South Johnston's football squad knock off Smithfield-Selma by a tally of 35-7.

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons enter the 3A Quad County contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Fike gained a win over West Johnston (Benson, NC), 39-32, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a 3A Quad County contest, on Friday, September 27. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 54-14 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
