Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), 42-36 in a league battle.

With the win, Thayer Central advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE) to encounter the Cougars in a D1 District 7 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Sandy Creek won 59-6 in their recent league battle against Tri County (DeWitt, NE)

The Mustangs now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Exeter-Milligan/Friend for a D1 District 7 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. Sutton will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 60-28 league win over Southern (Wymore, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.
