The Tri-County Academy Rebels walloped the visiting Winston Academy Patriots football team by a score of 47-13 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Canton Academy Panthers (Canton, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Tri-County Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 35-34 non-league loss to Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS).
The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS). The Warriors go into the MAIS 4A District 2 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Clinton Christian Academy was ripped by St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, MS), 19-6, in a league challenge.
