Classical Purple (Providence, RI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Classical moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Purple travel to Cranston East (Cranston, RI) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a Division 3 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a record of 3-1. Cranston East 3-3 in their recent league test against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI)

The Knights now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Central will clash with a Kilties team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 1-2.
