The Canyon Springs Pioneers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields to 0 in the Pioneers league victory on Friday.
The Pioneers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho for a 4A Mountain bout on Thursday, September 26.
With the loss, Cheyenne moves to 7-4 on the year. The Desert shields travel to Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Cristo Rey St. Viator won 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV)
