The DuVal Tigers edged the host Gwynn Park Yellowjackets soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Friday's non-league game.
Next, the Tigers face the Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A game, on Monday, September 23. DuVal will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD).
The Yellowjackets (3-1) will now prepare for their game against International High School at Largo (Largo, MD). The Sea Turtles enter the Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, International High School at Largo held off Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 2-1, in a league game.
