Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Trinity at Meadow View Tempest (Falls Church, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Eastern Mennonite moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Flames host Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA) to meet the Gryphons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Gryphons come into the test with a record of 4-1. Trinity Christian won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Warrenton, VA)

The Tempest now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John's Catholic Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Trinity at Meadow View will meet a Vikings team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Beth Tfiloh (Baltimore, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
