Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Grove Christian School Falcons (Richmond, VA) and the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA), saw Grove Christian School's soccer squad hold off Fredericksburg Christian by a count of 4-3.

The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against The New Community School (Richmond, VA). The Sabers enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, The New Community School was edged by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) in a VCAC battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Fredericksburg Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Gryphons enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA).
