The HOPE Academy Royals soccer team (Concord, NC), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Friday's non-league match with the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC)
With the triumph, Veritas Christian Academy moves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC) to meet the Fire in a Western Piedmont Athletic match on Tuesday, September 24. The Fire come into the match with a record of 4-1.
The Royals now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lee Park Prep for a Metro Area Athletic match on Tuesday, September 24. HOPE Academy will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 10-1.
