The Spartans now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Cuthbertson for a Southern Carolina 4A bout on Wednesday, September 25. Sun Valley will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, West Charlotte moves to 0-10 on the year. The Lions host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to play the Titans in a Queen City 3A/4A bout on Monday, September 23. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Hopewell won 4-2 in their recent league bout against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)
