The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers (O'Fallon, MO) and the visiting Parkway North Vikings (St. Louis, MO), observed Fort Zumwalt North's softball team get by Parkway North by a tally of 3-2.

The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Timberland (Wentzville, MO). The T-Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Timberland was nipped by Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO), 6-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 24. Parkway North will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Marquette (Chesterfield, MO).
