The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) and the visiting South Harrison Bulldogs (Bethany, MO), observed Helias's softball team get by South Harrison by a tally of 7-6.

The Crusaders (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 12-1 record. In their last bout, Hallsville tipped Capital City (Jefferson City, MO), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Blair Oaks Falcons (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 20. South Harrison will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Boonville (Boonville, MO).
