In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Louis Catholic Saints.

The Cardinals (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Ursuline Academy was nudged by Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. St. Louis Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Crescents come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
