Arizona High School Volleyball - Rio Rico over Anthem Prep

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) and the visiting Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), observed Rio Rico's volleyball team top Anthem Prep by a tally of 2-0.

The Hawks (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Combs beat Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Anthem Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ).
