The Trinity Tigers volleyball squad (Trinity, TX), was edged 3-2 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Apple Springs Eagles (Apple Springs, TX)

With the win, Apple Springs improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Eagles host Spurger (Spurger, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 7-7.

The Tigers now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson-Shiro for a 3A Region III District 23 battle on Friday, September 27.
