In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cherry Hill East Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Sterling Silver Knights.

The Cougars (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Chiefs enter the Olympic - American challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Cherokee got by Eastern (Voorhees, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Silver Knights meet the Cinnaminson Pirates (Cinnaminson, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ).
