Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Shelby Valley improves its record to 17-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Henry (Erlanger, KY) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 16-2. St. Henry won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY)

The Rockets now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trigg County for a District 5 test on Tuesday, September 24. Crittenden County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
