The Immaculate Heart Pandas thundered into the Cougadome & blew out the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars in 3. The Kung Fu Pandas riddled the passing line & hammered the defense with precision serving & thunderbolt swings. Lake Balboa could barely scratch the paint in reply. Under the weather Co-Captain Athena Orujyan did put up a fight to finish with a 2 for 5 .400 hitting performance to go with an 8 dig defensive stand. The only passer to break even against the net cutting Mac Heart serving was opposite Lina Matevosyan who had 4 out of 8 quality passes & a creditable .250 reception error percentage. This was by far the most accomplished opponent the Ladies of the Lake have faced this season. The Cougars take their act on the road Monday for a 2:30PM match at the First Place Sports Complex in Chatsworth taking on the Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys Mustangs.
