Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Kennard Tigers (Kennard, TX), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Onalaska improves its record to 8-20 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Crockett (Crockett, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 23 test on Friday, September 27. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-15. Crockett lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Normangee (Normangee, TX)

The Tigers now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Springs for a 1A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, October 1. Kennard will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
