Virginia High School Volleyball - New Covenant over Temple Christian

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA), observed New Covenant's volleyball team top Temple Christian by a count of 3-0.

The Gryphons (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA) in a VISAA Division 3 contest, on Monday, September 23. Temple Christian will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA).
