The Shelby Valley Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Raceland Rams to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 17-7 record. They play next when they host Crittenden County for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. Shelby Valley will play a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Raceland drops to 8-12 on the campaign. The Rams host Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 7-2. Sayre won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
