Ohio High School Football - Cardinal Mooney winner over Chardon

The Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) football knocked off the visiting Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH), 27-14 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Boardman for a non-league game on Friday, September 26. Cardinal Mooney will battle a Spartans team coming off a 42-10 non-league loss to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.

The Hilltoppers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers enter the Western Reserve game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Riverside was toppled by St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH), 45-33, in a non-league game.
