The Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting John Adams Spartans to 8 in the Sharks league triumph on Saturday.

The Sharks now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay for a PSAL 3A test on Friday, September 26. Frank J. Macchiarola will face a Hawks team coming off a 20-10 non-league loss to New Utrecht (Brooklyn, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayside (Bayside, NY). The Commodores go into the PSAL 3A challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bayside went down by McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech (Staten Island, NY), 30-0, in a non-league test.
