The Moses Brown Quakers football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Lions to 10 in the Quakers league triumph on Saturday.
The Quakers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coventry for a Division II test on Friday, September 26. Moses Brown will meet a Oakers squad coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Johnston (Johnston, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Lincoln drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to play the Wizards in a Division II challenge on Friday, September 26. The Wizards go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. West Warwick won 47-14 in their recent league challenge against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)
