New York High School Football - Midwood topped by Truman

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Truman Mustangs football squad scored a good 20-0 victory over the Midwood Hornets.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Stuyvesant (New York, NY). The Peglegs enter the PSAL 3A match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Stuyvesant thwarted Lehman (Bronx, NY), 35-18, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Hornets confront the Cardozo Judges (Bayside, NY) in a PSAL 3A battle, on Saturday, September 27. Midwood will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Judges go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 30-12 league loss to Madison (Brooklyn, NY).
