The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) and the visiting Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY), witnessed Niagara Falls's football squad knock off Niagara-Wheatfield by a tally of 28-18.

The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY). The Quakers enter the Section 6 AA contest with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Orchard Park beat Lockport (Lockport, NY), 34-0, in a league bout.

The Falcons now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Kenmore West for a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. Niagara-Wheatfield will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 51-6 non-league loss to Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.
