In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Liberty Ranch Hawks flag football squad scored a close 33-26 victory over the Bear Creek Bruins.

The Hawks (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverines enter the match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Rosemont got by Galt (Galt, CA), 13-8, in a league match.

Next up, the Bruins play the McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA) in a San-Joaquin Athletic Association battle, on Monday, September 22. Bear Creek will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 9-4 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Lincoln (Stockton, CA).
