The Bloom Blazing Trojan edged the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds flag football team by a score of 13-6 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Blazing Trojan face the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Bloom will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Boilermakers enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).

The Thunderbirds (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors come into the test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Crete-Monee edged Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 12-8, in a non-league test.
